Ranking | Team | Record | Comments |
1. | - | Great team. Loaded with stars in Strasburg, Tulo, Trout, and Longoria. Good depth, and they have budding star Gregory Polanco who is on the horizon.
2. | - | This is really 1A. You could easily flip flop them with Tampa. Terrific young core. Only question is, will the pitching hold up?
3. | - | When you start with St. Louis, there isn't much you need to do. They've upgraded SS and 3B with Beltre and Everth, and they still have that solid rotation to fall back on.
4. | - | Reds should be in a battle with Milwaukee and St. Louis for the top spot in the central all season. They have one of the top offenses in the league.
5. | - | Can't deny the studs they have offensively. Having no 2B knocked them out of the top 3. They could use some SP after Teheran and Cobb, too.
6. | - | Brewers fall just shy of the top 5. Solid all around team. I'm looking forward to this dispute.
7. | - | Really good infield led by Wieters, Reyes, Kipnis, and Albert. They have arguably the best SP depth in the league, with 10 quality arms to throw at you.
8. | - | The A's are solid across the board. Good depth. They lack the so called "star" to lead the offense however.
9. | - | The offense will lead this team to the playoffs, but it will die because of it's pitching.
10. | - | Blue Jays would be ranked higher if they had Adam LaRoche at 1B.....Just saying.
11. | - | Led by MVP Candidate Paul Goldschmidt, this team should run away with the NL West crown.
12. | - | You could argue they have the best trio of SP in the league with Yu, Zimm, and Cole. If they get a SS, they are easily top 10 material.
13. | - | The Nats have a quality rotation and many young players who will help them strive towards a playoff berth.
14. | - | Below average SP, but the great BP makes up for it. They should be fine if CarGo stays healthy.
15. | - | This team would be top 10 if they had an owner who cared. Rumors are the GM could be fired later today.
16. | - | They signed everyone and their mother. in free agency. They still have question marks with no 3B, and the fact that Kendrys and Drew have yet to sign. They are going to need a repeat of Fernandez's 2013 season, and a 2012 like season from Stanton to push for a playoff spot.
17. | - | A much improved team pre-free agency. You could make an argument to rank them as high as 14, but lets see how Tanaka and Abreu fair first.
18. | - | Good depth. Lineup is filled with solidly unspectacular veterans. Expect a .500 season.
19. | - | Philles are an awful team to start with. They need to fill some holes, but they shouldn't be that bad.
20. | - | Give Nels credit shedding 25M, while still being able to field a team with McCutchen, Prince, Cain, and Fister.
21. | - | Matt Holliday is only one player. He's gonna need help from somebody. This team misses Matt Harvey.
22. | - | This team could be much higher with the core they have. But no 2B, and no depth whatsoever will hurt them.
23. | - | Would rival any team for the offense they have. Too bad David Price doesn't pitch everyday, or they might have something.
24. | - | Yankees are slowly getting better. Still to many holes at SS, 3B, OF, and UT.
25. | - | Can't to deny the potential rotation of King Felix, Max Scherzer, and Taijuan Walker. But you can deny that miserable offense.
26. | - | Personally, I thought they should have been ranked #1, but I guess that's just me...
27. | - | They have depth at pitching, but just Puig on offense. They most likely will be battling SD for the last spot in the West.
28. | - | You're doomed when your best player is Carlos Quentin or Torii Hunter.
29. | - | Can 2016 get here already?
30. | - | This is a top 5 team. But they are 20.5M over the cap currently. Any team 15+ over we automatically placed last. |
