White Sox Send- OF Alex Rios ($13M 14')($13M 15' C/O)
Athletics accept, I think Im getting a pretty effective outfielder for the cost to aquire him, I can easily handle the salary so not much else to say, Good Dealing White Sox, Good Luck

I confirm.
Edit:
Moving Rios was a pure salary dump, because I plan on using the funds on free agents and prospects which I value much more than a soon to be 33 year old OF.
A's was the only person over the course of one week of Rios being on my Trade Block who showed an interest and actually engaged in conversation.
Based on general aging curves for hitters.... and the BIG final fall-off for Rios' is due soon. That coupled with A's taking on Rios salary and I wasn't expecting a huge haul.

I mulled this one for a while and I'm going to pass. I think A's win, but I don't think it's vetoable. 21 in A-ball is a normal development curve, and I still think Ynoa can be a mid-rotation starter. Striech is OK, and so is the 4th. Rios is solid but unspectacular, and for a 13M price tag for 2 years of remaining control mitigates some of his value.

Approve.
Huge contracts attached to players necessarily lower the value of what you receive when trading them. There are plenty of guys with contracts that are more of an albatross than Rios', but given that this was the White Sox only real offer and that he viewed the deal as a salary dump from the start, this return is to be expected.

Guess you should stop posting in the trade threads. Please. I don't want Rios, I'm telling you it is a light haul for him. Just a simple evaluation of a trade.
