Ranking | Team | Previous Rank | Record | Comments |
1. | 2 | - | Our new number 1. Texas has a terrific young team, filled with stars that will help them cruise to a division title.
2. | 4 | - | Solid all-around. No weaknesses to be found.
3. | 5 | - | They have one of the best lineup's in the league. Good depth too with BJ Upton and Robbie Grossman buried on their bench. Still could use SP help after Teheran and Lee.
4. | 10 | - | One of the biggest risers from our last ranking. Toronto has filled out its lineup, and has managed to keep its amazing SP depth.
5. | 30 | - | Ranked 30th last time due to being over the cap. They have got their financials in control, and will battle CLE for the division.
6. | 1 | - | Our number has fallen all the way to 6. After the re-evaluation, having no 3rd OF, no starting catcher, and weak SP depth dropped them on our list. Still could end up as the best team with Tulo, Longo, Trout, Upton, Stras, Scherzer. (Damn, that is a crazy core.)
7. | 3 | - | Same old Cardinal team. Gonna be a dogfight in the Central.
8. | 7 | - | SP is meh, but the lineup is very well balanced and should win them most cats weekly.
9. | 6 | - | Brewers have wisely stood pat, they still have a very good team. They fell mostly because of other teams leapfrogging them.
10. | 12 | - | Adding Desmond to play SS gave them a solid boost.
11. | 11 | - | Losing Corbin is tough. Good enough team to make due without him.
12. | 13 | - | A quietly solid team.
13. | 9 | - | Great lineup minus a SS. SP is nothing to mention.
14. | 8 | - | They need some type of OF....
15. | 14 | - | Weak SP, great BP, pretty solid lineup.
16. | 17 | - | Tanaka and Abreu are looking good for them. This is a very underrated Houston team, they could do some damage.
17. | 18 | - | Solid, yet unspectacular.
18. | 21 | - | The Mets are full of mediocrity. .500 season on the horizon.
19. | 24 | - | Yanks have come a long way. They need a SS. Might be a sneaky WC pick if everything goes right.
20. | 20 | - | Formidable rotation. They need some RP arms. Lineup is highlighted by McCutch, Rios, and Pablo.
21. | 16 | - | I'd be worried if I was Miami. They have no 3B, Kendrys hasn't signed, and neither has Drew. They have some major holes if they don't sign soon.
22. | 27 | - | Lots of depth + Puig/Kershaw. They won't be bad.
23. | 23 | - | Giants are really close to being a contender. Just a few more holes to plug, and they can definitely make a run in the weak West.
24. | 22 | - | Another team that has a nice core, but no pieces around them to help win.
25. | 25 | - | They have a solid core. No depth.
26. | 26 | - | SLEEPER! | |
27. | 28 | - | Actually not that awful of a lineup. They just might win a few more games that people think.
28. | 29 | - | Doesn't get much uglier that this.
29. | 15 | - | Over the cap, automatically placed at the end.
30. | 19 | - | Over the cap, automatically placed at the end. |
