To Blue Jays:
OF Jose Bautista (14M 2015 +) Junior Lake (0.5M 2014) Steve Lombardozzi (0.5M 2014) Danny Salazar (0.5M) 2015 3rd & 4th
For
SP Andrew Cashner (Arb) SP Aaron Sanchez (prospect) RP Andrew Carpenter (0.5M 2014) SP Jon Niese (8.4M 2017) SS Franklin Barreto (prospect) OF Anthony Gose (prospect) SP Roberto Osuna (prospect)
I'm moving Niese in this deal in order to cut some salary which helps me take on Bautista. Again, tough trading Cashner and Sanchez, though adding a premium bat like Bautista on a team friendly contract definitely helps my lineup compete in the AL East. Most importantly why I'm doing this deal is because of Danny Salazar. He's a young talented arm, controllable through 2019 making the minimum. His upside is huge and he has the chance to be a stud in my opinion. I likely wouldn't have traded Cashner and Sanchez along with Osuna if Salazar was not included.

I accept. Didn't want to part with Salazar but the specs I get back have very high ceilings. Niese is under control for a good few years with a contract that is manageable. With him and Cashner added to my rotation it is starting to look good. Also a lot of high impact arms to come up over the next few years as well.
I think I possibly lose slightly here overall after the amendments but it gives me a bit of extra space to keep this team heading where I want it.

I don't like to do this guys, but TOR still adds 5M. Which would put him at 120M, or 20M over. Please do not add any cap, Blue Jays. (I know I said last time, it would be ok if it was a little amount, but not anymore.) I'm voiding this for the league, and the Blue Jays team financial situation.
